The submitter and co-ordinator of the project is Obchodná akadémia Dušana Metoda Janotu in Čadca, Slovakia, which is planning to involve togehter 32 students of 4th grade of bilingual branch of study (Slovak - English) and 2 teachers (the teacher of English and the teacher of Economic subjects) in international mobility activities that are intended to be realized in the course of the project. The role of the accompanying teachers and partner organisation Tellus Group Ltd. is to guide, direct, help, monitor and mentor the students. The usage of the method CLIL within the teaching of vocational subjects (Economics, Commodity Science, Correspondence and Typing) at Obchodná akadémia DMJ Čadca is focused to strengthen the teaching of English language which is inevitable for our graduates to succeed on European labour market. Within the project we would like our students to undergo practical training in the companies in Plymouth in order to develop and reinforce their professional skills and competence, broaden their horizons via work experience, improve their English language skills and learn how to work and interact in a diverse society. One of the main objectives of the project is to provide our students with an opportunity to enhance and test their professional knowledge and competence as well as their language and social skills in real environment of foreign companies by active work and training in the course of mobilities.We would also like to learn about the latest requirements which our graduates have to meet on the labour market and especially on European market so that we could integrate them in our teaching and training process as part of the essential competences needed for our graduates in our School Curriculum.The mobility activities will take place in the companies in Plymouth during 2 weeks of May - June 2017 (the first flow), May - June 2018 (the second flow).In the future the school is planning to keep on and enhance co-operation with partner organization Tellus Group and to establish international collaboration with foreign companies involved in the project.
