At the beginning of the relationship between the two project partners a need for a long-term cooperation was raised, concerning the solution of the students' and entrant intellectuals' problems. After having joined the EU the youth of the two countries got into a similar situation concerning the preparation for adulthood, which is why it is expedient to look for answers to these questions. The cooperation also involved the specialities given by different cultural backgrounds. Our chosen subject, 'Woman and Nature* offers a wide range of possibilities so that those who participate may become responsible citizens of the EU, study the problems of women's identity and articulate our common answers to the challenges of the consumer society.The general objective of the project is is to get to know the students' communities, the teaching staff in Oradea and Debrecen and to build a long-term relationship between those groups. Target groups: students from Oradea and Debrecen; university teachers, researchers, educators, lecturers, audience from the two participating towns, formal and informal groups connected to the associated institutions, high school students, their teachers and parents, readers of the published books, audience reached through the media.The main specific activities of the project are: organizing two conferences, trainings and seminars, organizing accompanying cultural programmes, publishing monographs.Main results: 2 conferences with 300 participants, 2 training programmes with 50 participants, cultural programmes with 400 participants, 1800 copies published.
