Włączanie imigrantów w proces edukacji akademickiej w państwach Grupy Wyszehradzkiej
Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 31 août 2019 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The European Migration Crisis, which is observed since 2014, forces a change of the migration policy both at Community level and in the individual Member States. International Organization for Migration claimed that in 2015 the number of people migrating to Europe was the largest since the end of World War II (over 470 thousand asylum applications lodged in the Federal Republic of Germany, 160 thousand in Sweden, more than a Million throughout the EU). Poland and the other Visegrad Group countries, which are the members of Communities, should treat this problem - mass migration directing mostly to the Western Europe - as their own (initial commitment to accept the first group of migrants). The project is a proposal to solve the issue within the group of the most active young people migrating to Europe. The main objective of this project is to prepare higher education sector in the V4 countries for inclusion of immigrants into academic education. Other objectives are: improvement of the quality of higher education in the institutions participating in this project (new subjects implemented in international groups, participation of students in field researches); change of social attitudes towards migrants in local communities (from xenophobic and exclusive to tolerant and open); promotion of academic education among immigrants; social inclusion of students-migrants into their new homelands.Achieving these goals will be possible through:1. Development of the project’s intellectual outputs - Syllabuses and rehearsal edition of subjects facilitating social inclusion,- A set of studying principles in the Visegrad Group countries,- Strictly scientific activities: field researches and scientific papers,- “Catalogue of Necessary Activities Towards Migrants”, which will include not only the analysis of the current Migration Crisis and recommendations how to overcome it, but also all the important issues on the axis: immigrants arriving in Europe - Academic education - inclusion of graduates- immigrants in their new homelands;2. Dissemination of these intellectual outputs through:- Seminars, conferences, publications, scientific articles, reports, trainings;- Internet: Youtube, Facebook, project’s website, websites of participating universities, broadcasts in the local media, press releases;- Participants’ meetings with immigrants and the local environment;3. Inviting to the project (by the applicant) appropriate, trusted partners - the universities from V4 countries (similar system of academic education and social reactions to the Migration Crisis) and a partner from Turkey, which has wide experience in academic work with immigrants. Partners (their previous cooperation) are the guarantors, who can ensure the continuation of activities adapting the higher education sector to meet the needs of immigrants after the completion of the financing of this project. The consortium hopes that the combination of individual skills of each partner with experience gained during the project will lead to the formulation of realistic solutions to the migration phenomenon, applicable in the field of academic education. Initiative will bring long-term benefits to the European system of higher education and help to formulate proposals in this regard to the European Commission.
