The ‘Wild Life’ project increases wildlife preservation and animal rights on local and regional levels.The aims of ‘Wild Life’ are:• To increase the mobility for 32 young people with fewer opportunities.• To exchange best practices and examples regarding wildlife preservation and animal rights • To preserve animal rights on regional level through 2 wildlife campaigns per partner.• To disseminate and spread a book on wildlife preservation to 10 schools per partner and 15 organisations per partner• To make young people with fewer opportunities (aged 17-25) more active citizens on local and regional level.‘Wild Life’ contains of two activities for 40 mobilities both in Ommen, The Netherlands.Activity 1, APV. Dates: 4 + 5 June, 2016Activity 2, youth exchangeDates: 18 – 25 July, 2016The basic element of each activity is to make young people with fewer opportunities more active citizens by organising wildlife campaigns themselves and share best practices and examples. All partners in ‘Wild Life’ come from rural areas where youngsters live in geographical isolation and most of them in poor economic conditions and less chance in formal education. The involved countries in ‘Wild Life’ are The Netherlands, Slovenia, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal, Estonia, Greece and Lithuania.In the APV we will mainly make use of dialogue and debate in sub-groups and give presentations of best practices and experience.The method for the exchange is mainly dialogue, sharing best practices and comparing situations in each country, possibilities regarding wildlife campaigns and working together in order to create a book.As a result of ‘Wild Life’ we will create:- A book which will be spread to 10 school and 15 regional organisations per partner.- Two wildlife campaigns for 100 local inhabitants per partner.The sustainable impact of ‘Wild Life’ are active citizens whom stand strong for their local environment and a specific animal in particular.
