The project entitled "Better skills and competence, better prospects for the future" is addressed to students of Technical School from Vocational School in Ozorków. The school offers education in the following professions: technician economist, IT specialist, trade worker. All 40 students qualified for the Erasmus mobility are over 16 years old, have good command of English. The project assumes that all the participants will gain experience within 14 - day professional training at Italian and Spanish companies . Sistema Turismo S.R.L and Tribeka Training Lab S.L are responsible for organisation and reception of group of students.The project corresponds to the following needs: good professional preparation of graduates with recognised European training and working standards, professional competence, development of key competence and professional experience using the skills learnt at school in the real working positions in Poland as well as abroad.The objective of the project is to enable the students of the school to obtain valuable qualifications and experience that will increase their prospects in the job market, improve key competence, promote language learning as well as intercultural awarness among students of the Technical School. The project is tailored to promote social inclusion and and equal opportunities for people qualified for the project. Most students in our school come from disadvantage backgrounds including special educational needs such as dyslexia and they are often in difficult financial position. A great number of them come from rural areas and their parents are unemployed. The program can be considered as an element of difficult initiative aimed at providing teenagers at socio-economical disadvantage equal chances for education and in the job market. The following steps will be taken during the entire project: sign a contract with project partners, choice of beneficiaries, travel arrangements, provide homestay accommodation, two-week intership in IT, economics and commercial companies in Italy and Spain, monitoring and supervision. After completion of the project its results will be widely disseminated.In order to ensure high level of project quality, the beneficiary has made great efforts and carefully preapare all implementation stages. It has been ensured that a foreign project partner has an experience in international cooperation and support in the field of students mobility and vocational training. The effectiveness of objectives will be evaluated on a regular basis and the main emphasis will be directed at obtaining specific educational results. On completion of the project, excluded young people will be preapared for entering the open labour market in their country and abroad. Their competence will be attested by Europas Mobility Certificate. Those who come from families at disadvantages will increase their independence in adulthood. It is also expected that after the project implementation, students will be motivated to learn and their self esteem will increase. Most project participants are likely to take and pass external examinations in specific professional competence and enter the labour market. Also, great care will be taken by school to promote the effectiveness of the project on the largest possible number of people. Dissemination of the results will be obtained through educational digital tools such as presentations and numerous blogs, social networking portals (Facebook), articles in the local television and newspapers, conferences concluding the project. The following long-term benefits are expected: to strenthen the European dimension of Vocational Schools in Ozorków, improve its image and make its educational offer more attractive. The acquired experience abroad, the implemented project activities and obtained results will encourage to try positive changes inside the school and in the area.
