This project continues and builds on the current project involving bilingual lessons.The aims of the project are to improve method and didactic skills for teachers at primary and secondary levels. All subjects, e.g. home economics should be partly taught in English also at primary school level.Another aim of the project is to encourage acceptance and to motivate pupils to break down barriers between themselves and people from other cultures and also of course to improve their own fluency.We intend on sending five teachers in two years. They should learn new teaching methods, especially in using the Internet and E-Twinning. Seven other teachers who are mainly involved in this project have already taken part in a course (CLIL, PML) and are now successfully using these methods in their classes. The project is discussed and planned in regular team meetings.We have noticed that, with the experiences gained with using new pedagogic methods and making our lessons more international has been motivating for both teachers and pupils, this can be seen in the significant improvement in exam results.
