Date du début: 1 nov. 2012,

Partners deal with internationalization of SMEs and VET systems, working to create a favourable environment for improvement of international trade and more qualified Human Resources at local level. Export Manager (EM) is a key competence within SMEs growth’ strategies and his training is recognized as enabling factor for the capability of SMEs to sell abroad and compete globally. Nowadays companies need specialized staff able to understand the new dynamics of export, especially due to the increasing use of ICT and web marketing. Traditional VET of EMs requires more than ever to be integrated with training on advanced ICT solutions and web-marketing approaches. Therefore partners decided to joint efforts to design a new Web Advanced Export Manager (EM2.0) training course. Project's objective is to develop this training by upgrading traditional EM competences into a new profile able to leverage on most advanced ICT solutions and web marketing approaches. The final product will be a training course addressing individuals (either already trained in one of the two core competences, or not), in view of their future employment in SMEs export areas or for self-employment as export advisor. The work plan includes research and analysis of current EM training courses, embedment of web based tools in a consolidated EM course, development of the course (basing on open source e-learning platforms), implementation of a pilot and definition of an effective exploitation strategy to capitalize the results for the benefit of partners, as well as VET and business community. Besides of implementation WPs, Management, Quality Assurance and Communication and Dissemination activities will be performed. The envisaged impact are i) an improvement of export capacities of SMEs thanks to more effective/efficient Export Manager profiles (trained with the new methodology) and ii) an increased quality of EM training in EU. The course will be prepared for transfer to other VET institutions
