To improve mutual understanding as a basis for increased cooperation in order to jointy develop the region and to overcome joint challenges (overall objective). Achievements: The project We play in Europe, with a total eligible value of 174,420 Euro, contributed to strengthening the cooperation in sports from Pleven and Olt, by bringing people together to establish cultural and information exchanges and sharing experiences in working with children as well as a cross border partnership in this field.Through this project, were organized: 4 exchange meetings with the participation of Bulgarian and Romanian students, coaches, members of the project team, doctors, translators, photographers and other persons involved in organization of the tournaments; 5-day football tournament in Pleven, Bulgaria with participation of 160 children and their parents from Pleven and Corabia; 2 handball tournaments with students; 2 friendly football matches for ladies; 2 friendly football matches for veterans and 2 folklore common shows.
