The overall objective of the project in selected villages of the borders, both living in communities with the scope of the joint cross-border cooperation and protect traditional cultural heritage, is found in the cultural cooperation. Both of the village primary school teachers, students and parents, jointly are performing activities to enhance the quality of life, traditions, customs, local crafts village, living in their community by promoting cross-border co-operation is located inside. The specific object of the project with cultural two-side visits and activities is to encourage the cultural transformation and cooperation between the teachers, student, and parents of Atakoy and Mineralni Bani schools. Cultural and historical corners in both schools are established. Thanks to these activities the young generation is being aware of each other's culture and history. By organizing a cultural day in villages, their own traditional food, craft, children games are also being recognized to the village people. There is also a knowledge transformation between the two school students by designing a web side. Achievements: The project encouraged the cultural and cross-border cooperation between teachers, students and parents from both schools in Atakoy and Mineralni Bani.Two cultural corners have been established in both schools. A cultural network has been created through developed web page – www.common.rio.ichost.net. During the execution of the exchange and cultural days students and teachers tasted traditional delicious and various Bulgarian and Turkish foods. They watched folk dances and games. The project improved the co-operation and friendship between Turkish and Bulgarian students.The project has been successfully accomplished in May 2012.
