The aim of the project is to raise awareness among young people on water conservation, its relation with environmental problems and climate change by using creative drama techniques to reach local people and to learn practical actions to take individually in daily lives. From 4 countries (Turkey, Romania, Italy and Croatia) 28 youngsters (6 participants + 1 leader) will come together in Zonguldak city on 4-14 October 2016. The youngsters who will learn more about water conservation are going to make a workshop in a primary school and prepare a street performance to raise the awareness of local people.Our participants will be young people who are motivated to work on the frame of environmental awareness, water conservation and climate change; also would like to work with drama methods, have enough English level to take a part in our project.Project Aims:- To raise awareness through taking attention firstly water conservation, environmental problems and climate change and to activate youngsters about this,- To improve the adaptation of youngsters to intercultural environments by increasing their self confidence, self awareness and entrepreneurship skills through using creative drama methods- To raise environmental awareness in Zonguldak on local level.Methods which will be used: non formal education methods, creative drama, simulations, role-plays, group debates, brainstorms, presentations, reflections. The impact and the benefits on long term:- Raising environmental awareness and spreading the culture of conscious consumption,- Making awareness-raising projects about environment and climate change on local, national and international levels,- Increasing awareness and use of non-formal education methods and creative drama techniques- Increasing the awareness about Erasmus+.
