The project aimed to assist the exchange and comparison of the two applicantsenvironment and water damage reduction practice and their experiences ofmeasures taken to prevent loss events. Common experiences were summarizedin a document easy to understand, on the basis of which small regions, professionalorganizations and NGOs get acquainted with existing problems and possibilities forprevention and management thereof. The project involved professional meetings inHungary and Slovakia, discussing the subjects of water catchment area management,flood protection and water damage reduction, water rearrangement and water damagereduction, as well as waste management and water quality damage reduction.
