Experiments to date have shown us that there is much goodwill among young people to work in charity projects but fewer competencies working with disadvantaged people . I was surprised to discover that other organizations have similar challenges . We found out that we share almost the same shortcomings and European organizations . This prompted us to combine our efforts to develop the skills of our youth workers associations . This project is the result of collaboration with known partners in the last few years. We intend to implement this project to provide opportunities to: * youth workers - To develop skills in the area of transmission of information, communication and work with people from disadvantaged categories , - To share the successes and shortcomings of each other prior experience in working with needy families, * community members (especially children) to know and respect the rules of hygiene, to improve living conditions. The goals we set are that at the end of this project, the 24 participants: 1. will have improved practical abilities in communication, interaction, influence and motivation 2. will have practiced providing information, moral support and implement actions for and with disadvantaged 3. will have enriched their theoretical knowledge about working methods generally applicable and in particular for people with special needs 4. develop an attitude of understanding, empathy towards disadvantaged groups would like to develop more projects to help ( they do and the skeleton of a personal action plan in this regard) will be motivated to put practice skills learned at work in community / their organization As a secondary objective, we plan to succeed acquisition of minimal rules of theoretical and practical skills of personal hygiene by members of four families of underprivileged people that we will involve. The starting point in selecting organizations with which to collaborate in this project were that some come from countries with similar economic environment and social / economic constraints ( Bg ), held events for families with special needs, or belong to communities where the number of Romanian immigrants is significant (It, Sp ). We performed together an assessment / analysis of needs that prevent youth workers have an effective contribution to activities aimed at disadvantaged . Using the results , we then established a list of activities that meet and develop their competencies and support objectives. At the end of the project activities and we will draw the line and analyze what we have achieved. We expect immediate results consist in developing the theoretical and practical skills of participants, linked to the project objective. As a medium-term effects , we target the youth workers to apply in their own organization and in the local community competencies acquired, by working to involvement / in helping people from disadvantaged categories . If , moreover, the project participants will be able to inform members of the community, to inform them , to mobilize them to participate in activities aimed at improving the living conditions of people - then the impact of the " Wash Away the Barriers " is there - youth workers have gained the motivation , knowledge , support for their projects so they can move things in the organization or in the local community , for the common welfare . Not only youth workers , partner organizations and their communities may feel the impact of the project, but also organziations / people in the wider space-regional, national , by implementing the communication plan and involvement of external experts . Actions to promote the project during the development and after completion with results, are of great importance to us . Dissemination plan has already been discussed with partners and will ensure the visibility of Erasmus great in general and our project in particular - through outreach efforts and involvement of major media partners . Agreement on performance indicators , their development and implementation process is essential for the success of this project. Parameters were set through negotiation with partners. We apply quantitative and qualitative methods and we evaluate the extent to achieve the objectives . After the end of the courses in Otopeni , each partner will be responsible for monitoring progress and presenting them as " program evaluation".
