The project "In search of taste" was aimed at young people just starting their adventure in the labor market, facing difficult career decisions. Through a series of workshops, presentations and meetings with people who are working in the catering industry, we showed what a great potential lies precisely in this area. The project involved a total of 40 participants, 20 participants from Lithuania and 20 participants from Polish. Among the participants, both the Polish and Lithuanian ones, we could find young people coming from places with difficult access to education and high unemployment, ex. from small cities, towns and villages. Series of activities organized during the project included: savoir-vivre and food photography classes, workshops conducted in a professional Culinary Academy as well as menu composition and food decorating training led by the chef of one of Wroclaw restaurants. In addition, the participants had the opportunity to explore regional businesses - the vineyard and Chocolaterie - getting to know the ins and outs of making regional products and gaining the basic knowledge of the entrepreneurship at the same time. The result of joint work during the workshops, urban game and other classes, intensified by integration meetings, help create a permanent platform for cooperation between the participants. Young people have the opportunity to explore the culinary traditions of their peers from other countries, as well as present their own national dishes. Final stage of the project was festival "We found the flavor", in which participants prepare twelve dishes from both the Polish and Lithuanian cuisine. The provisions of cooked dishes along with photographes have been disseminated by publishing solutions available on the project website.
