TERMINÉ
The project “ Learning – the way that never ends” is based on the needs of our organization for the coming years in terms of quality development and internationalisation, arising from the medium – term school development plan. The needs are affected by changes that took place at our school and reflect the current situation in the school and in the region. It's primarily the development of school leaders professional management skills, the development of teachers professional knowledge and skills, gaining international experience , increasing the language competences, adding European dimension in education through international mobility, increasing intercultural awareness, enhancing the quality of educational activities through new methods, supporting efforts to achieve excellence in teaching , internationalization of the organization, promoting professional development.
Project objectives in the first stage of participation in Erasmus + : staff training mobility for school management and the development of the English and Russian language.
Our organization will utilize the newly-gained competences to motivate other staff members employees for further learning, to motivate students for lifelong learning, to enhance the quality of the educational process, to apply new methods in teaching, to spread best practice in education, to streamline the organizational process , to improve ICT skills, to improve language and communication skills.
The project consists of three mobility - one is addressed to the school management (14 - day management course in the UK), and the other two to the teachers of a foreign language (21-day English language and methodology course in the UK, 14-day Russian language and methodology course in Latvia).
The expected impact on the project participants includes the development of professional management skills of school manager, the development of professional competences of school teachers, personal experience in an international environment, language competences improvement, communication skills improvement, gaining new knowledge of European countries, the acquisition of new material, making new contacts, contribution to the personal development of an EU citizen.
The expected impact on the participating organizations is increasing the motivation of other employees to further education , improvement of pupils' motivation to lifelong learning, adding an international dimension in education through international mobility, enhancing the quality of the educational process, the application of new methods in teaching, dissemination of best practices in education, increasing efficiency of organizational process, improving ICT skills of school staff , increasing language competences, communication skills improvement, gaining international experience, emphasizing support career development, school staff motivation to participate in European projects.
The expected impact on the target group of students is to increase students 'motivation to lifelong learning, to encourage to work on personal development, to increase students' motivation to learn foreign languages, to encourage students to be independent language user, to encourage students to be active European citizens, to motivate students to participate in European projects.
The potential long-term benefits include the motivation of school staff and students for lifelong learning, motivation to participate in European projects and be active European citizen.
