In recent years our school has participated in various EU sponsored international projects. All of them have been rewarding to the teachers and students involved. This year our school has applied to be awarded the title "Welt-Ethos Schule". This is a project aiming at overcoming prejudice and understanding school as a place of intercultural learning. Promoting individual learning, the implementation of new forms of media in our normal school routine and monitoring each other's teaching processes are supposed to be the pillars of an improved quality of school education. We were looking for ways to reach these goals and found a possible solution for our problem with the Erasmus - programme. Two language instructors of our school are going to enrol for the course "ALM - Advanced Language and Methodology" in August, 2015. Latest methods for the motivation of students and the use of modern media will be the main content of this course. We are applying for the course in order to improve our professional skills. We hope we will be able to initiate foreign language projects (e-twinning) and intercultural exchange among other schools in Europe. Sharing experience with colleagues from abroad and thus improving our language proficiency might give our work a new impetus. We are planning to share the acquired knowledge at home.
