We plan to participate in three teacher trainings, two of which are dedicated to developing digital competence and the third one to outdoor education. In addition to that we also planned job shadowing for the headmaster of our school in a Turkish school. Unfortunately the digital competence trainings were not funded and actually only 2 mobilities out of ten remained- the outdoor education training and the job shadowing. We would like to have an outdoor education class on our school premises and to gain experience from European outdoor education experts. Iceland stands out for having considerable experience in outdoor education. During the instruction we visited several outdoor education classes and in time of the practical course in the forest and on the beach we built temporary outdoor education classes, using various means at hand. Such experience is a prerequisite for building an outdoor education class in our school and for using outdoor education in as many subjects as possible. The students of our school have repeatedly attended a dance festival in Turkey. It was so evident that the students there had very different social background. We can say just the same about Estonian rural schools - families have very different opportunities and income. Therefore, it is important for the school to offer equal opportunities to all of its students despite their background and the background of their families. It seems to us that in Turkish schools they have dealt with these issues more than in developed European countries. That's why it is good to learn about the experiences of the other countries in this field when organizing our studies. During my job shadowing I became acquainted with the Turkish school experience how to integrate students of different background and how to help problem families. The project manager is the head master of the school who reached agreements with the partners who organized the schooling and also with the head master of the school where the job shadowing took place. The project manager is responsible for booking plane tickets and hotels when the financing exists and also for organizing everything else regarding learning mobility.
