Overall objectives:To develop the citizenship skills of the young adults of the target area in order to empower them to initiate and implement new self-supporting economic and civil activities through self-organizing.To involve the young adults in the development - in terms of culture, tourism, environment, nature protection and animal protection - of the target area through volunteer activities. To promote volunteerism, to strengthen the role of volunteering in career building. To educate for civil.To help the Ukrainian and the Hungarian young people to get to know each other, their cultures and traditions, and to value the difference rather then see it as a disadvantage. Specific objectives:To foster the experiential learning process and the development of the social life skills of the young adults through volunteer activities.To provide knowledge to the participants that can be utilized in longer terms in their life.Development of tourism. To facilitate the participants to create new values which are useful not only for them but also for the community, and through this process to support their creativity and self-confidence. Main activities:Publication and placard edition, formation, graphical planning, printing; The creation of the website; T-shirt making;Preparing of voluntary groups’ workers; Recruiting of volunteers (road-shows); Organization of a summer university for youth, preparations; Holding of the 1st and 2nd summer universities; Discussion and evaluation of the summer university experience; The work of voluntary groups; Life leading workshops to volunteers; The Earth Day program; Animator training; Preparation, organization and carrying out of a festival in Transcarpathia; Expanding of the voluntary programme (recruiting junior volunteers); Writing and publishing of an essay; Mass media. Expected Results: 1. Young people do an economically and socially useful activity while volunteering.2. During the program we are going to form 2 volunteer groups in Hungary and 3 in Ukraine with the participation of 60 people. 3. There going to be16 people taking part in the animators’ training. 4. 1000 people are expected to take part in the Festival in Transcarpathia. 5. We are expecting to less than 1500 people to take part in the program in Vasarosnameny. 6. The two Summer Youth Universities are planed for 60 participants. 7. During the recruitment more than 3000 young people are going to hear about volunteering.
