Volunteering &Sustainable Development (VSD) aim to provide young people and communities involved in the project a framework for reflection on the importance of social, economic and environmental sustainability in a consistent manner as chapters of sustainable development, and to provide methods of active involvement for getting this goal. The economic crisis caused a reorganization of global needs, and increasingly ecological education is oriented to activities that combine care for the environment, entrepreneurship and social and professional development. Increasing European poverty in our community, and unemployment among young people involved stressed the need to address the professional development of young people in youth activities. The project concept was born from the desire to combine care for the environment with the needs of personal and professional development of young people. VSD project was developed from the experiences of four partners, each hitting the needs of young people they work with, to get competent for socio-professional integration. Greentin and partners in Hungary and Spain used environmental education and social entrepreneurship to integrate young people, while Italian partner was focused on the promotion of mobility. By participating in project activities, participants will gain knowledge about the environment and biodiversity, and digital literacy and entrepreneurship to help them better integrate into the labor market. The project aims to introduce using non-formal education, the concept of sustainable development and the principles that this concept works in youth activities.Project activities: Exchange of the VSD, Share Volunteering & Sustainable Development, voluntary service VSD, Dissemination. Project objectives:Promoting volunteering, active involvement, dialogue and civic debates as a method of sustainable development in four communities in Romania, Hungary, Italy and Spain for a period of 5 months;Sustainable development in 4 European communities in Romania, Hungary, Italy and Spain by implementing activities that stimulate creativity and entrepreneurship among community members;Socio-professional for 20 youth and 4 group leaders from 4 different European communities by involving them in the preparation and implementation of youth exchange VSD;Socio-professional development of 5 youth from three different communities in Europe by creating a conducive learning space for two months in a voluntary service;Through its activities, the project supports the objectives of Erasmus + VSD, promoting social and professional development of young people involved in mobility. The project aims to increase employability in the labor market for the participants, improving career prospects of those by obtaining specific skills, strengthening language skills, increasing tolerance and Information on cultural diversity and multilingualism European community, developing a sense of European citizenship, and increasing the organizational capacity of the international dimension of partner organizations.
