The project ELIX "Volunteering is in our nature!" focuses on the mobility of young people and the promotion of volunteering through civic participation and the promotion of awareness of European projects. For 12 months, one young volunteer 26 years old, from Italy will come in contact with the local community in Athens and will try through intercultural dialogue and the coordination of local volunteer groups to engage in social, environmental and European issues. With the main objective to promote volunteering and opportunities offered by European programs and the «Erasmus +» program, he will contribute to the creation of audiovisual material, recording the results of effort and cooperation, he will develop group organisational skills, he will coordinate and organise voluntary actions, and will also develop practical skills on environmental protection and the preservation of our cultural heritage.
