In the project „Volunteering in Rural Area, in Gersekarát” our organisation will host 2 youngsters from Romania for 10 month for EVS. The project is settled in a very rural area of Hungary, in the village Gersekarát. Its main aim is to help local youngsters to have meeting points with the ideas and values of European Union. We think that suitable information, active personal contacts and activites towards protecting local values can help this process. So we use equipments of different kinds of multimedia to reach the youngsters and help their participation by providing information and possibilities. During the period of the service the volunteers not only help our work but they develop theirselves too, and taking part in a non formal learning process. This is the first time we have participated EVS. In one hand we would like to gain experience in international youth work, and on the other hand using this experience we want to continue this work with other youngsters coming from different countries.
