The project "Volunteering - act of citizenship", established links and developped cohesion between youth work and the inclusion of marginalized youth. This project is linked to the promotion of European Citizenship through work towards youth; it is one of the few sustainable ways to promote the idea of ​​respect for Human Rights and Equal Opportunities to the different communities. Project objectives: - Motivate young people to be active contributors to community development, - Encouraging young people to take initiative and be active citizens, - Explore and exchange practices in the development of youth work and support processes to the inclusion of youth in marginalized communities. A young French boy of 25 years old, hosted together with other volunteers from different backgrounds, participated in this project. In particular, he: - Developed multicultural practices and tools (games, drawings, ...) - Organized intercultural activities with children and young people of the territory, - Participated to support the initiative of local youth involved in various projects, - Participated in the promotion of events of the structure, - Developed the website of the structure, - Leadered French language workshops each week. Through these various actions, the EVS volunteer hosted within the structure, helped to create links between young people from marginalized and various communities (rural areas, suburbs, minorities, multicultural communities, Roma ...). Furthermore, these actions have allowed young local people to have direct opportunity to know and understand the potential benefits of Europe, feeling closer to this Europe.
