Volun-tour
Date du début: 1 août 2016, Date de fin: 1 mai 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The main objective of this project is to develop a new format of international mobilities for young people, fully organized and implemented by NGOs. These mobilities will be defined from now on as “Volun-tour”: a mixture of cultural awareness tours and change-making actions organized by NGOs working on the field, with the purpose to offer quality-learning experience to international volunteers through the encounter and interaction with local communities, and to inspire active participation and advocacy in the communities according to a different topic for each countryProfiting from non-formal learning competences and Erasmus+ experience, the project aims at developing a new scheme of international mobility managed by youth NGOs and to launch a new web database to create “Volun-tour” platform as follow-up of the whole action. To plan a significant impact, the project will foresee change-making initiatives, both online and on a local level, with the purpose to raise awareness on a specific community challenge chosen by each Asian partner organisation. Complementary online campaigns will therefore be implemented together with the “Volun-tour” platform in a mutual system of advocacy and social entrepreneurship. As output of the project, the website www.volun-tour-info will be implemented, to share the new concept of “Volun-tour” and offer concrete examples of the implemented tour packages together with thematic awareness campaigns on challenges affecting Asian local communities touched by the tours. External organisations will be invited to join the “Volun-tour platform” and follow the same guidelines to enhance the dissemination, which will be already granted by local events with local authorities (in Asia) and a photo exhibition (in Europe). The project foresees the formalisation of NGOs cooperation in a field generally dominated by travel agencies, creating a network of sending and receiving organisations to promote non-formal learning experiences for groups of interested young people.
