Rechercher des projets européens

VolNet dla OrthNet czyli wolontariusze na www.cerkiew.pl
Date du début: 1 août 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project duration is ten months. It takes place in Bia?ystok and is undertaken by a fellowship Orthodox Initiative OrthNet. There are three, closely related objectives of the project. The first objective is to create a plane for volunteers, which enables them to get new skills and further develop their abilities that are crucial for functioning on European job market after the project finishes. The second objective is to extend and enrich activities of OrthNet. This would promote the fellowship and help in finding new Polish and foreign partners. The third objective is to promote volunteerism as a great way of gaining work experience. We invited two volunteers from Bulgaria to implement project tasks. Volunteers are between 24 and 26 years old, they are interested in journalism, photography and religious studies. They are dedicated to their duties, courageous in taking decisions, flexible and creative. Their openness to changes is of great importance. Volunteers are also willing to share their skills and have a positive approach to working in an international team. Volunteers work Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Each of them works individually. They also have an opportunity to work in a Polish-Bulgarian team. The duties of volunteers are: - Gathering and filing pictures uploaded by users of a website www.orthphoto.net. In addition, volunteers create catalogues of pictures and select the best pictures to create slideshows from them. - Helping in preparations of photography exhibitions on given topics. This includes arrangement of photograph frames, putting up pictures on racks and easels, participation in promotional events and preparation of news reports on opening of each of the exhibitions; - Writing of news reports or translating news reports into English; - Interviewing people who are dedicated to undertakings connected with Orthodoxy in Poland and publishing of those interviews on a website www.cerkiew.pl; - Networking ? striking contacts, mainly with foreign organizations, that have a similar profile to the OrthNet organization; Our project has a significant influence on improving the quality of skills of young people, who are looking for employment in Europe. It gives them a chance to gain hands-on professional knowledge, improve their skills and obtain new experiences. Young Europeans will have the courage to build their reality regardless of their current location. They will become mobile and flexible and hence more attractive as potential employees in their countries as well as Europe-wide. The proposed project also has a beneficial effect on local community of Bia?ystok. Some of Bia?ystok?s citizens are infamous for their racist, intolerant and xenophobic behavior. Our project gives those people an opportunity to meet people from different cultures and, consequently, widen their horizons ? build more open attitude marked by respect and understanding for differences. Participation in the project gives all organizations a chance to get new partners that are competent and open to innovation and new activities. Our cooperation is also an opportunity to review our methods of work. We can try new things and introduce new rules which might make our operation more effective and easier. Thanks to that we will be able to enrich our offer in our countries, and become more efficient in our international projects.
