Rechercher des projets européens

Voix d'enfants / Espace scénique
Date du début: 22 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 22 sept. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This project aims at developing children’s vocal learning and practice by combining it with performing arts (theatre, dance, movement). Many choirs in Europe have successfully developed innovative pedagogies and forms of expression combining voice and stage movement for children. Children like to move: associated with movement, song learning can be a discovery that is both fun and challenging, fostering the quality of the voice, the development of the personality as a whole and children’s artistic expression. This kind of approach is also more attractive for less privileged children and audiences, promoting access to a musical culture for all. Choirs are doing a great work at the local level but remain isolated, because of the lack of visibility on the activity of children's choirs in other countries, the lack of methods and tools for disseminating knowledge and best practices in that field, the lack of capacity in scenic work and the lack of repertoire suited to this type of work. This project meets their needs and develops this attractive pedagogy at the European level by creating a long-lasting network of cooperation between choirs involved in this type of experience, enabling mobility, exchange of best practices, training and capacity building in order to develop this approach and reach new audiences.Professional meetings and joint concerts with children's choirs are planned in different countries. Composers from each participating country will create a new European music repertoire for children’s voices. Project members’ work will be summed up in a narrative book and in a documentary film.
