Vocational Training In Europe
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

After the opening of a European section In English in the field of « Customer relationship » and after 3 consecutive years of Mobility Project organized for our sixth formers, we wish to carry on with this dynamics for our students graduating in the « European A’level » for the first time in 2016. The objective of this project is to allow our participants to develop their professional skills abroad, to improve their language skills. We would also like them to open up to the European dimension they will experience, in their trade, after graduating. 15 applicants are involved in this Mobility Programme. They are graduating in a Vocational A’level option Sales, Commerce and « Customer relationship » and will have been attending DNL lessons for 3 years. After a preparation related to cultural, language and professional matters in our school, they will perform their last internship in Dublin. They will be staying there for 4 weeks in Irish companies to confirm their professional skills, that will be assessed by our team of teachers together with their Irish tutors. In order to carry out this program and perpetuate it, we set up a method using different tools. The project team follows a rotation of the staff in order to make information go from one organizing team to the new one. Two heads of the project coordinate the different actions and lean on the rest of the staff which is organized in other work groups. New technologies make it easy to have access to resources and team work for all the members. General term meetings make it possible to recap the planning and set up new objectives for each group. We not only expect this project to have a positive impact on the influence of our school, but also in the prospective of personal projects for our students and their access to upper education and work. We hope our students will pass the European A- Level qualification and perpetuate the European section in our school. The long term potential advantage of this project would be to make access to mobility possible on a long term basis as well as a better European integration for our vocational sections. It would also make the mobility culture more valuable among our staff who is motivated by the knowledge acquired through our previous experiences
