Vocational Spiders; European Network of Project Based Learning in Electronical and Mechanical Engineering

Vocational Spiders Network of Project Based Learning combines VET of electronics & mecatronics that is a current trend in future skills & competence in industrial engineering and automation. The project activities are - connecting students, schools and companies in a digital web blog- students' open tasks to design and produce an automated product in student teams according to Problem Based Learning-method- presentations of student products in a web Gallery- arrangements of two European seminars for students product presentation and current trends and employment opportunities in automation industry- networking teachers with European collegues, and - the development of european dimension in VET via EQF and ECVET. The aims of the project are - Establishing a digital communication platform to be mainted for five years, - Students' product development and European seminar participation - Application matrix of PBL-method- Acquaintance and peer learning of teachers in European Qualifications Framework, education systems, programs and assesment of learning outcomes in partner schools. - Cooperation and company consultation in curricula, future skills, development trends in industry and students' open task asessment. The impact for students is reinforced motivation, better employment opportunities, practising foreign languages and learning new cultures, strengthening social inclusion and European Citizenship. European overall impact is achived by transfer of good practises, increasing the quality in student mobility, implementation of EQF & ECVET and networking in digital platform that can be extended to new countries and new partners.
