Vocational Education Platform for Maintenance of Electric Vehicles

Aims: The main objective of the VEMEV project is to create a platform of innovative vocational education and training (VET) in the field of EV, CS and Battery maintenance, repair and service. Project’s objectives at supporting on innovative new approaches in VET in training centres in field of EVs (car, bicycle, scooter, wheelchair etc.), CSs and Batteries maintenance are;To transfer the existing innovative teaching methodologies developed and used in Sweden (INFOCAR) and Turkey (EPDP),Their adaptation for the specific needs of the VET system in Turkey and Romania.To provide innovative curriculum, educational materials, devices and equipment,To establish the National Vocational Standards and the National Qualifications in the field of the EV, CS and battery maintenance technician vocation.Target Groups: Trainees, apprentices, students, trainers, masters, technicians who are interested in the field of EVs, CSs and Battery maintenance VET, Policy makers, VET institutions, manufacturer, industry, vehicle services, researchers.The consortium: The VEMEV consortium was established to bring together all interested and competent parties who are Universities (P0, P2, P8), VET centre (P4), public authority (P3), SMEs (P1, P5, P6) and NGO (P7).Outcomes: Curricula, Training Modules, Training Materials for formal and open learning, Mobile Maintenance Station, New Occupation Profiles (Green Job - EV Technician), Library, Vocational Qualifications and Certification rules of EVT.The impact: The VEMEV project will ensure consumers get the best support and that this new technology has a smooth, safely and sustainable introduction to the marketplace. Our project will provide trainees and trainers for green job training platform in the field of high added value and development potential in the among those engaged.Our project will develope a new skill-new job and a valid passport of ecological profession in Turkey, and will be contributed to sustainable employment.
