ABOUT THE PROJECT The overall objective of this project is to promote non-formal education and volunteering among the young people from the rural areas in the center of French (Medium Moutains). Our project is to provide the opportunity to discover the installation in rural area, built a collective project with us and three volunteers. Moreover, volunteers participate in the life of the place : participatory project, associative farm and care for the animals (goats, chickens, rabbits). The volunteer must organizing workshops and presentations about their countries, leading to cultural exchanges with youngsters from rural areas. The volunteer should be: - enthusiastic and eager to learn more about non-formal education methods and also to get involved in youth projects; previous experience represents an advantage; - open-minded, cultural sensitive and flexible to work in different teams; - cooperative, with good communication skills, spirit of initiative and creativity; - availability for field work, for activities performed in open air; - it's necessary to have driving licence;- a great motivation for the countryside is required ; - it's recommended to speak in English or French.
