VIT and e-learning - Innovative integration of video interaction training and e-learning in an european context

Video Interaction Training is a communication methodology developed in the Netherlands. The VIT-er makes video recordings of daily life situations in family life, schools, hospitals etc. After recording, the video tapes will be analysed together with the client. This project aims to build-up a European cooperation based on Video Interaction Training in youth care. The project will develop new ICT tools compatible with Video Interaction Training and will implement a pilot VIT-training in one of the partner countries (Romania). Thus, it intends to establish a VIT infrastructure in this country. The project addresses a) professionals in youth care, b) teachers related to social work with children, youngsters & families, c) children & families at risk. The project will use the VIT-method in the professional youth care to coach & support the clients at a distance (e-learning). A web site and conferences are also foreseen.
