Our organization is an elementary school in a priority education network. The students are mostly from lower socio-economic and cultural environment. They are very modest and not very opened to the outside world.Through our eTwinning projects , we realized our weaknesses in the use of digital tools. Moreover, during a European contact seminar in our academy, Finnish teachers visited our school and realized our needs in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies for Education). Our department does not provide a training that fulfill our requirements, so we submit an application for training in Europe, especially in Finland known as the best European educational system.The objectives of the mobility project consist in reinforcing ICT and cultural skills to :- Eliminate teachers' fear of using ICT - Use digital tools in daily teaching and international projects- Make the school more international - Make a long-term project and acquire durable and reusable skills, beneficial for the entire teaching staff- Improve our cultural skills- Pooling and exchange teaching practices- Disseminate the acquired skills and experienceTwo participants (Christelle Lapra ZERATHE and Jennifer, both primary school teachers, graduated in English) were selected according to their interests in the European dimension and ICT, as they are currently involved in eTwinning projects and their skills in languages, training is in English.The mobility project includes peaks of activity and visible crucial steps on our Gantt chart (attached).They are briefly described below:* September 2015: Meeting of the teachers to think about a European dimension of our school* November 2015: First contact with the partner organization (Finnish School Ruukin Koulu) at a seminar of European contact, entitled "How to make your school more international?"* December 2015 - January 2016: Development of applications for the mobility project* February 2016: Application Filing for mobility project* May 2016 - European Day*July 2016 : Training in Cyprus about ICT ( Web 2.0 Tools for effective teaching and project work)* August 2016: meeting when teachers go back to school* September 2016: Survey (diagnostic evaluation), teachers will answer an online survey made by the participants. It will determine their approach to ICT. LINK TO THE ONLINE SURVEY : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1uXeo-df6NWo70M6d3ulHCmPt25ETCZMpO4DURzoVPQo/viewformOctober 2016: Mobility of 7th to 17th October 2016- Training Seminar in English entitled "Structured study visit to schools / Institute and training seminar"- Visit and organized study of schools in Finland"English Matters"'s detailed program from 09.10.2016 to 16.10.2016 (attached)All activities will be in English.*November 2016 : Internal report to the school inspector and internal training*January 2017 : Job shadowing at Ruukin Koulu: from 9th to 13th October 2016* February 2017: Internal report to the school inspector and internal training* March 2017 : External training (for colleagues from other schools)* June 2017: final evaluation, investigation, and Finnish partners'visit who will check the use of digital tools in our teaching methods- Regular supply of our school website with students'activities related to the skills acquired during mobility.IMPACTS AND LONG-TERM BENEFITS:For participants:- Obtaining a Europass mobility - Ability to advice or to train other teachers- Reinvestment of skills acquired throughout their careers by using ICT in daily teaching and in international partnershipsFor the body:- Greater dimension given to ICT in the school project- Familiarity with new technologies- Use new digital tools- Team efforts renewed- Developing school's image with a local, academic, national and international radiation.For the students :-Appropriation and use of digital tools with creativity and motivation- Appropriation of digital use and tools to create, produce, exploit data, inform, document, communicate, exchange- Acquisition of transferable digital and cultural skills throughout the education
