Understand and implement diversity as an opportunity - improve and extend the methodological repertoire in terms of cooperative, self-determined and integrative learning and interculturality We want to send 1-2 teachers of our primary school to training courses, which support our staff to understand the diversity as an opportunity and demonstrate how to deal with it to achieve benefits for all learners. The focus is on the implementation of equality within the heterogeneous learning groups, intercultural communication, good group dynamics, the improvement of the students' social skills and collaborative, self-determined and integrative learning. Furthermore an exchange with colleagues from other European countries and a glimpse of their school systems will help to reflect their own teaching practice and the discovery and implementation of new forms of learning should lead to a positive impact on the priorities mentioned above. We also hope that this training will help to make new contacts with colleagues from other countries in order to develop new international student projects. The theoretical and practical suggestions from the training and visits to schools in other European countries should thus lead to a qualitatively higher quality education for the students. The application of new modern teaching methods should attract the students more intensive and prepare them well for their future in education and life. They will learn how to enhance their social and intercultural skills, how to be to be open for the diversity in our society and can understand this as an enrichment.
