VET Talents For Europe
Date du début: 15 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 14 sept. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Project ‘VET Talents for Europe’ has been designed to offer 16 intermediate level VET education students from Los Cerros de Úbeda Secondary School the opportunity of carrying out one month internship in Polish companies related to their training in the following fields: Technician in Consumer Electronic Equipments, Technician in Electrical and Automatic Installations, Technician in Administration, Technician in Microcomputer Systems and Networks, and Technician in Auxiliary Nursery Care. The project will take place in the Polish town of Srem where we have a counterpart partner organization, VET School Zespol Szkol Technicznych, which we have already collaborated with. Additionally, other 7 companies from different sectors have joined the project. The project, with a duration of 24 months, will be implemented in two different flows of mobility. In each of the flows 8 students will travel at the end of the period specified in our school curriculum for what we call FCT Module - Training in Work Centres (May and June 2016 and 2017).The Project ‘VET Talents for Europe’ is designed as a key element in our strategy to achieve higher European awareness in our education centre. At the same time this project is also aimed at increasing the quality of our training offer, especially in the field of VET education. The main goal of our project is based on improving our students’ chances of entering the labour market. This will be possible thanks to the professional and language skills as well as the personal development that an European in-company internship would offer to our students. This project will definitely benefit our future students both in the short and long run in terms of motivation to continue their professional and language studies. The project will be very beneficial for our education centre too. It will make our VET training offer more interested and specifically adapted to the needs of the current labour market and our society through a great feeling of European citizenship.
