This realized project has been already the eighth mobility project in a row of accomplished projects at our school. In comparison with the previous projects, this one was even more extended, both in terms of mobilities number, the number of the involved foreign partners as well as the covering of the study fields taught at our school.
Within the staff professional development we implemented one run. The receiving organization for three VET teachers was an Italian college ITT Michelangelo Buonarroti in Trento. Work programme of the mobility was focused on the use of IT tools in the process of teaching and learning, particularly tablets, also on the method of cooperative learning, the flipped classroom and CLIL method.
Within the activity of VET learners we implemented 40 mobilities. Mobility of students were directed into five European countries (Slovakia, Germany, Cyprus, Spain, Italy). In total we collaborated with nine foreign partners. - four in the Slovak Republic, two in Spain and one in each of the other mentioned countries (Germany, Cyprus, Italy). Students´ mobilities covered all educational programmes taught at our school, which are Applied Chemistry (26 participants), Fire Protection (4 participants), Security and Legal Studies (4 participants), Cosmetic services (2 participants) and apprenticeship Hairdresser (4 participants).
Receiving organizations for our students were vocational schools (SBG Dresden, SOŠ Chemická Bratislava, SOŠ Stavební Žilina, SOU and SOŠ Beauty and Care in Bratislava, IIS Scalcerle Padova), technical faculties (University of Nicosia), educational centers (The National Centre for Vocational and Occupational Training of Cartagena) and a pharmaceutical company (BIOT Microgen Granada). In case of four partner institutions the internships were reciprocal (SBG Dresden, SOŠ Chemická Bratislava, IIS Scalcerle Padova, SOU and SOŠ Care Beauty in Bratislava). The first three institutions are our partners in CREDCHEM Network, within which we cooperate on the implementation, development and experimental testing of the European Credit System for Vocational Education in the sector of chemistry.
ECVET principles were used in five of the promoted runs. Besides the above mentioned runs also in case of chemical internship in the Spanish training center in Cartagena and the internship at SOŠ Chemická in Bratislava for students of the security and legal studies. Within the project we used previously created units of learning outcomes Advanced organic synthesis, Chromatographic separations, Microbiology, Spectroscopic analysis. During the project we also created some new ULOs, such as Analysis of biologically active compounds and Forensic analysis. Both units were verified during mobilities at SOŠ Chemická Bratislava. For the field of Fire Protection we worked out ULO Performing complex extinguishing and rescue works in the action, for the field of Hairdresser ULO Different techniques of hair extensions and for the branch of Cosmetic services ULO Working with cosmetic devices. In addition to the acquisition of students´ knowledge, skills and competences we can see another significant project output in the deepening and widening of the international cooperation and even stronger implementation of ECVET into vocational education and training.
The project was successfully implemented. The outputs of the project were valorized. With respect to the project results the cooperation with all partners will continue in the next mobility project as well.
