vers un enseignement pluridisciplinaire de l'anglais
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Valleroy Primary School is located in a rural setting with 150 pupils aged 6 to 12, divided in 6 classes. This project’s main objectives are as follows : the improvement in results/ grades in English and the use of English in other disciplines. To achieve this our teachers are keen to create new and efficient dynamics in the way they teach English. It will build upon the linguistic, educational and methodical skills that our two participating teachers will have gained during their Erasmus + training. With both participants teaching different classes and age groups (CE1 & CE2), they will use their new skills to promote & improve the teaching of English at all levels of our school, i.e. educational content, methods and actions. Both our participants have similar backgrounds : they both are already actively teaching English in their classes and both dedicate their spare time to improve their English skills. They are both highly motivated teachers, who use their extensive experience in mentoring trainee teachers and students preparing for the CRPE entrance exams. This enriching experience will enable them to transmit their new skills on their return from Erasmus + training. Presenting similarities in their profile, our teachers also have great complementary assets : They both come from different university training and their levels in English are also different. The Head Mistress will be able to use her experience in training and mentoring junior teachers , to disseminate knowledge obtained during her training in Dublin to her team on her return. This diversity will enable them to define appropriate approaches to promote the success of all pupils in English. The full range of English teaching will be enriched : the language itself, the cultural knowledge, conversational English, non-linguistic disciplines and writing.
