Rechercher des projets européens

Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The aim of Ferenc Hansági Vocational and Secondary School for Catering and Tourism is to train competitive professionals, whose skills are up to the European standards and love their vocations. Thus the school puts special emphasis on providing foreign vocational practice. In our ongoing project 9 institutions and business ventures of 7 countries (GR, IT, MT, ES, RO, DE, AT) collaborated with us. We realized the mobility of 30 VET trainees (pastryy chef, chef and waiter), out of whom 28 students (one chef graduate) took part in a one month practice and 2 pastry chef graduates spent two months in Malta. 5 accompanying teachers helped their integration over 5- day long periods. There had been a change in the project: instead of 2 VET teachers, 4 of them travelled abroad. Our experience shows that at the Greek partner the trainees were not provided with the opportunity to gain required professional development, whereas with our partner in Hameln we could realize a serious workshop regarding the development of ECVET means. Consequently, for the sake of professionalism, we regrouped our finances from the Greek teacher mobility to the Hammeln associate program. The aim of our application was to maintain and improve our mobility activities having a 15-year-old history. With the program we also helped our graduate students who planned to work abroad after finishing school. The in-service teacher-trainer training programme of our school supports the vocational in-service training of our VET trainers, thus the second area we applied for was the training of VET staff. Foreign traineeship is especially provided for our students with good learning results and/or for highly motivated students who show outstanding commitment at the school events. When choosing the beneficiaries we are considered the principle of equity as well and we equally supported our students with learning difficulties but high level of commitment. The recognition of the foreign traineeships into the Hungarian VET system has been a problem for many years. Our aim was to try to solve this problem by using the ECVET tools, such as the most important tool of the VQTS model, the Competence Matrices elaborated by the ECMO German pilot project. Within the mobility program, the task of our Chef trainer in Rodos was to try and test the Competence Matrices. During his stay he highlighted difficulties and problems the traces of which had already been detected during our former mobilities. This way we can prove the necessity of disconnection from the Greek partner with factual proof. Three collegues travelled to the experience exchange program to Hammeln, East Germany. During the program we elaborated within the context of knowledge, abilities and competence, the German and Hungarian version of the two waiter learning results, which are to be acquired over the one- month professional practice. Then we framed up the competence matrices that would measure the level of achieved results. During the program we did not plan to use the ECVET means over the whole project but we managed to try them out partially in Malta and with all three of our German speaking partners. Our institution has had a regulation concerning the realization of foreign traineeships and exchanges since 2008, which regulates each part of the realization process. Based on the ECVET means, this document could also be improved. The international mobilities have a wide range of impact both on the improvement of the individual and the institution. Primarily we experienced development in terms of soft skills. The foreign language competence of most of the sudents abroad improved. Their motivation increased, their learning performance improved and they became more open to the changes happening worldwide and regarding the questions about the European Union. The got to know about the possibilities of working abroad and their enterpreneurship developed based on the new patterns they had met. From the aspect of quality improvement an important result is the regulation and documentation of the recognition and validation of the foreign traineeships. We signed the Memorandum of Understanding with two of our partners, which would mean the base for using the ECVET system. By the end of the project we had gained an elaborated and tested Learning Agreement and Competence Matrices in all three vocations. The documents are at our service in three languages (Hungarian, German and English). We find these results to be the biggest achievements of our project. The learning outcomes and the acquired competencies can be written into the Europass mobility certificate, thus we could get an official document about the learning outcomes which could be used for the recognition and validation of the learning outcomes.
