The project "VOTE! - Validity Of Tolerance & Education" creates the unique chance to 30 young people (especially those with fewer opportunities) between 18-30 years old to be involved in voluntary work abroad for a period from 2 to 10 months to another country.In a frame of the "VOTE!" project EFM will cooperate with EU countries: Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Poland & other Partner Countries of the World: China, Iceland, Columbia, Peru, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Uganda, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Nepal & Mexico.The main objectives of the "VOTE!" project include: promotion an active build EU through voting to European Parliament, cooperation with China, promotion of young people's aware citizenship&tolerance, developing solidarity among youngsters, fostering mutual understanding between young people from different countries&continents, involving young people will fewer opportunities as well as fighting against poverty, marginalization&social exclusion.In general the project mainly focus on the inclusion&integration of people into the community. Youngsters, especially those with fewer opportunities&with difficult social background, will be encouraged to participate in the project&discover new cultures with the aim of preventing from social exclusion. The work in inter-cultural groups in non-formal way will reduce prejudices&stereotypes as well as raise the awareness&sensitivity for different cultures, nationalities, religions&orientations. The volunteers will work together with youngsters in different institutions such as youth&social help centers, schools, kindergartens or orphanages. The project will be mainly launched in less developed regions where people have to face particular problems such as high unemployment, marginalization, consequences of poverty, crime or drug-&alcohol abuse etc. In these regions the vulnerable group is especially the youth because of the frustration, lack of perspective,motivation,exclusion from the local community.
