The project will bring together students who study in the profession of forestry technician.Project participants will leave for internships in 2 groups.Dates placements of particular groups:I group (4 people + 1 teacher) - from 09 to 22 October 2016 ; duration of 2 weeksII group (4 people + 1 teacher) - from 23 October to 05 November 2016 ; duration of 2 weeksObjectives:1) apply knowledge and skills gained during the school2) the acquisition of new knowledge and practical skills in the field of mechanical engineering forest3) the knowledge of the partner organization system, the conditions and rules in force in German work environment,4) the development of appropriate attitudes to work: taking care of the quality of work, timeliness of execution tasks, the development of its own initiative in the work environment, the acquisition of the ability to work in a team.5) increasing the linguistic competence in the language industry (German) taking into consideration forestry.THE RESULTSMeasurable (hard):Hard results:1. 4 students supported under the project2. 4 students who will benefit from both language classes and cultural-pedagogical classes3. 4 students who receive certificates and documents Europass Mobility4. 4 students who will take a professional internship in Germany5. 1 film about internshipSoft results:1. the increase of motivation to acquire knowledge2. the increase of student's self-esteem3. the increase in the level of creativity and sense of initiative4. the increase of practical skills in the profession of forestry technician5.the increase of linguistic competence in the language industry6. acquisition of intercultural awarenessThis project has a crucial meaning because it will be a partner in the activities of the company Niedersächsische Landesforsten from Germany, which has a strong market position and is an important partner for the State Forests that modernize the system of staff training based on experience of Niedersächsische Landesforsten. It is certainly a guarantee of high quality of the project and also ensure an adequate standard of professional practice, during which students will acquire knowledge and skills necessary for future work in the forestry sector. The company's experience in the organization of practical work is long-standing.Niedersächsische Landesforsten, thanks to its technological advancement is an ideal apprenticeship place for students. The school through the implementation of the project wants to prepare participants to enter the labor market – in our area (Masuria district)the situation is very difficult. There is a high unemployment rate.The project for both the school and the participants will generate long-term benefits of enriching participants with valuable practical knowledge. The school will be also considered as a reliable partner on the international level and this fact will enrich its educational offer. The project allows to raise pupils professional competences based on the modern technologies used in the forestry sector, what will strengthen their position in their future professional life.
