Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our project "The new push for the European co-operation - the teachers play a key role" is named after our schools and our regions needs to develope and establish links with other European nations and cultures. For a small school and municipality this is very important in order to valuable contacts with other cultures can be obtained. This project allows participation for all the teachers who wanted and our headmaster. They have all actively worked on several international projects at our school. Everyone has the education and training required and lots of proficiency and experience on projects before. The teachers will participate in a course to be held in Italy in July or August 2014, "At the heart of Roman Empire: Archeology and history of Rome and the Bay of Naples". The aim is to strengthen their knowledge of the ancient history which forms the basis of the Western culture. The knowledge of their own roots confirms identity and self-esteem. It teaches the value of their own history and therefore also the other cultures. All of this contributes to teaching and implementation of lifelong learning. The course methodology is based on the theory and practice (such as workshops) allowing participants can to build a strong picture of the ancient history. It helps them to realize and understand their life as a continuum of the ancient culture. The course of the headmaster is going to improve his Spanish language and thus contribute to organize the student exchange with a Spanish school. This exchange is planned to take place 2014 - 15. The Spanish course will also have long-term affects to our school activities because our students are studying Spanish only via Internet (video based learning). The participation in the training has a direct effect on the participants' skills. Indirectly it will also affect the whole community including the students who are guided in awareness of world citizens. The education contributes teachers to guide their students to see the diverse of educational and employment opportunities. The aim is also that the students will travel abroad and participate in to student exchanges. All this will increase their open- mindedness and the belief in their own abilities, language skills and cultural identity ("Europe is our home!") will be strengthened. The use of technology allows co-operation across borders. Most of the functions requires working as a team or couples. We'll report and present of our project to our superiors, colleagues, our students and their families.
