The project “Validskills” is realized by BVO’s partnership between Professional High School “Nikolay Haytov”-Varna and Bilolungsberatung&Vermittlungsagentur in Osterreich /BVO/, Sirnits, Austria. Both the organizations are public, and great-experienced in the vocational education. Professional High School of Forestry and Woodworking “Nikolay Haytov” is great-experienced in the training of the following professional directions:”Woodworking”, “ A Forestry and Hunting enterprise”and “Planting”. The partner has a statute of a professional educational centre. The project provides for 2-week exchange of experience in which 16 teachers in professional training and staff that are not pedagogical will take part. All of them are employees of the Professional High School”Nikolay Haytov”.They are related to some validating of knowledge, to teachers and employers from Austria. The main aim is absorption of innovative tools and methods of validating of the results/ knowledge, skills and competences/ of the independent and informal studying, during the work or at home and ECVET. The subject of the project is submitted to the main context of the European Commission on studying in all our born days and is important to the users because they are not experienced in such an assessment. The main objectives are: - to improve the users’ professional skills and competences, my making them acquainted with the European tendencies to acknowledge the skills and knowledge of the people and ECVET. - To make the users acquainted with the Austrian experience and good practices in that direction and with the European standards, too. - To improve the users’ personal competences, their foreign language knowledge, their teambuilding skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.The exchange of experience will be realized in August, 2015, in Austria, Carintia. The main activities are: a choice of users; preliminary preparation, researching the needs of validating the knowledge acquired by independent studying , the exchange of experience with the partner-organization, forming methods of knowledge assessment, technology, turnover of documents, ECVET, using the experience of the Austrian partner BVO, applying the new experience and documents during the assessment of people’s knowledge in the Professional High School “Nikolay Haytov”; spreading the result of the mobility by media; offering the worked-out products to another professional schools which want to validate knowledge. During the stay in Austria , meetings with employers will be realized , in order to research the possibilities to motivate the workers to study independently, and to certify the knowledge; discussion and acquaintance with the documents which BVO uses during the assessment, working-out of ECVET. - The main expected results are: participants’ adaptation to the new requirements to the vocational education by improving on the professional skills; using BVO’s experience for working-out of school documentation; organization, rules and order of the validating process in Professional High School, of the people’s knowledge during the informal studying, legalization of the necessary documentary forms, methods, analysis and certification of ECVET; fully developing of the users’ personal qualities , such as: flexibility, teambuilding skills, work in a multicultural environment, absorption of professional terminology, improvement on communication skills with people with different qualification, be more confident during the independent validating and ECVET application.
