In the frame of our project we will organize a long-term European Voluntary Service for 6 volunteers from 5 different countries, EU memberes. Projects will take place in the period september 2015 - september 2016 . Project participants are volunteers : Laura McCoy - North Irleand, Jorge Zapata Maceiras - Spain, Clémentine Fayol - France, Theresia Cai Yi Tu - Germany , Monique Louise Eberhardt - Germany and Sérgio Manuel Escudeiro Mendeiros - Portugal. They are mostly young people aged 19-30 who want to increase their knowledge and skills in working with children, young people healthy and mentally disabled and socially excluded young people. The coordinating organization is the Akwedukt Association in Kwidzyn from Poland. Volunteers will work in five institutions in Kwidzyn (Kwidzyńskie Stowarzyszenie Oświatowe, Eco-Initiative Association, Integration Kindergarten in Kwidzyn, Complex of Middle Schools in Kwidzyn) and the Latorośl Association in Malbork. The main objective of the project is to increase the openness of young people and youth workers to new cultures, challenges and opportunities in the path of education and employment. During the project, volunteers will work using active methods such as workshops (music, sport etc. ), outdooractivities in the forest , creating sence garden, to reused paper workshops, presentation on their country and the European Voluntary Service . We believe that intercourse with another man, will enable them to overcome the barriers they have in themselves and develop their skills. Volunteers already have experience in working with children and young people, so we want to take advantage of their ability to work on themselves and their own development. The impact on the local community will take place in particular in the field of intercultural education . Breaking down barriers and stereotypes, exploring other cultures, it will be an essential element of this project. Beside that through our actions inhabitants of Malbork and Kwidzyn will learn about the "Erasmus+" Programme and non-formal education.
