On Estonian-Russian border inNarva?Ivangorod there is a unique complexof two fortresses of great cultural andhistorical value. Their historical and culturalpotential is not used in full extent and thefortresses require further renovation work.The main objective of the project is todevelop unique Narva?Ivangorod fortressesensemble as one tourist object, as they arefacing each other on opposite banks of theRiver Narva, and to conserve the culturaland historical heritage.The main results of the project are creationof one tourist object (tour around Ivangorodand Narva fortresses) and its promotion,improved information infrastructure andpreparation of documentation for UNESCOWorld Heritage Committee.
