We (Genç Osman Anatolian High School) have decided to do this project with Amber Initiatives.We have contacted with the UK training provider, using our previously established contacts. The aim of this study visit is to guide and address a need of European education establishments to increase our capacity to operate at EU/international level and learn about the education systems and pedagogical methods used in the UK schools, including support of students from disadvantaged background, and, thus, develop our own professional project writing and language skills. The other aim is to guide managers and teachers in order to prepare high quality projects in both national and international area. In this process, the other target of our school is to have more qualified staff and teachers who can use the right problem solving techniques and correct strategies for problems. Our participants will get an insight into how schools in the UK operates, leading to new teaching ideas and improvement. Four participants who are experienced in their professionals and can adjust in team work easily are going to the U.K. for staff mobility programme. We will do a survey before and after the programme and the expected results of this survey are : - to increase knowledge of the UK education system -to improve the level of key competences and skills, linked to professional profile of participants -to feel more self-confident and sure while expressing their ideas -to increase the knowledge of EU citizenship - to increase knowledge of support available for children from disadvantaged background -to increase intercultural awareness of participants Timescale of the activity: -June - September 2015: preparation stage ( Selection of participants, preparation them for the mobility, linguistic and cultural preparation, contacts with the training providers, initial assessment of skills and knowledge, dissemination and visibility, etc.) -October-December 2015- the mobility activity stage -January- June 2016- post mobility stage ( evaluation, dissemination, etc)
