This project is under the Erasmus+ program.Key action 1 (KA1) - Learning Mobility for Individuals.Action - Mobility for school education staff.Title of the project - "21 century skills for educators." Starting date 01-10-2016. Project duration 12 month.Name of the applicant: "Tsar Simeon Veliki" Secondary schoolSchool "Tsar Simeon Veliki" is the largest school in Vidin. It is known for its pursuit of excellence in training, modernization and the implementation of ICT in teaching. The school is directed towards the development of students' practical skills and link education with practice. Introducing the European dimension and cooperation in the classroom is one of the objectives. Work for social inclusion of children from minorities, migrant families and children with special needs. The school authorities are looking for new ways to improve learning and increase students' motivation through the use of ICT and new mobile technologies. The aim is to change the attitude of students towards mobile devices and computer as a toold for learning.Priority is improving the quality of language learning through its modernization, connection with the practice and ICT.With the new vision of teaching the school will meet the challenges of modern life.The main objectives of the project are:  - learning of new interactive methods, skills and attitudes to the use of mobile devices - tablets and smart phones in teaching foreign languages and natural sciences;  -update and enhance the practical oriented language learning;  - development of European cooperation and integration in the classrooms by project-based learning (PBL).In School "Tsar Simeon Veliki" teach 946 students aged 6 to 19 years. School staff is 78 people. Of these 9 people administrative staff and 60 teachers.The project provides 8 mobilities.Participants are selected by the School Commission and the Staff Council to set criteria for a clear and transparent procedure of selection.The planned training and activities are for a period of 12 months and include: 1. Participation in 4 structured courses in other European countries on themes corresponding to the objectives and areas for improvement:        1) Modern interactive methods of teaching English.        2) Teaching English in class using tablets        3) General pedagogical aspects of the use of tablets, e-platforms and 'blended learning' in teaching different subjects.        4) training methods based on computer games and platforms.2. Finding partner schools from the participants in the mobilities. The goal is future cooperation in KA2 and eTwinning.3. Start international and national eTwinning projects on topics from the project mobilities.4. Dissemination of results at the school, at the town, at the municipal and at national levels.As a result of these activities, participants in mobility are:  - Increased their qualifications in relevant subjects and received a document Europass mobility and certificate of participation;   - Increased motivation to work for training in the future according to the National strategy for development of pedagogical staff;  - Improve their foreign language skills;  - Enriched their knowledge of other European education systems;  - Established contacts with potential partners;  - Realized the need for European added value in the activities of the school; - Know how to apply school strategies to improve the educational process, following European policies in education and objectives of Erasmus +. The impact on participants in mobility is not limited to them. The project provides training courses and presentations, publications online and in the medias, which acquired knowledge, skills and resources of mobility will be submitted to the    -the staff of the school,    -the staff of other schools,    - The administrative authorities in the Regional structure of Ministry of Education,    - The parents of students,   - Partners in previous projects.In the long term the project will update and improve the teaching of the subjects of the key competencies. We put on a new level the language learning. The project will introduce the use of mobile devices and applications for training. This will improve digital competences of students and teachers. The school facilities will be used more rationally. The new way of teaching will increase students' motivation to learn and stay in school. Will continue to develop the work on European projects and programs of the EU countries. Will raise awareness and interest in the program Erasmus +, and eTwinning.All this is in order the school to fulfill its mission to prepare students for their successful realization in modern society.
