The " A student in a foreign labor market " was addressed to students of the Post-secondary Medical School in Morawica , who are in highest semester of their studies, trained in the profession of massage therapist and beauty therapist. Applying institution was Post-secondary Medical School in Morawica . Partner institution ADC College in the UK, which has many years of experience in project management of the Leonardo da Vinci programme.       The main objectives of the project was to enable students who are still learning the profession , gain work experience abroad and to raise the level of their communication skills in both general and professional English . An important point of the project was to provide the Participants with participation certificates including Europass Mobility. . Participants could get to know the organization and work culture in health care and implemented programs for rehabilitation , wellness and cosmetic services as well as to develop their skills, linguistic and social competences , . The training complemented the curriculum by creating a way of knowing the actual application of various techniques in cosmetic treatment or wellness . The purpose of the placementt was to prepare the participant for independent work , decision-making and high culture of customer service.        The project was also necessary to meet the objectives of the development plan of the Post-secondary Medical School in Morawica , in which the priority is to upgrade the facility to adapt it to European standards of education and practical training and educate qualifiied and skilled pupils prepared to face challenges in the European labour market .       The result of the Project was not only the experience gained by the participants but also the supplemented school knowledge in areas related to the organization of healthcare n the UK as well as increasing the level of communicating in English. The project promoted shaping qualities such as creativity and flexibility in the performance of professional tasks. Three-week placements were realized in two groups on the following dates : - Group I - 13.04 . - 01.05. 2015 -7 people ( massage therapist, beauty therapist ) - Group II - Group II - 4.04 - 22/04/2016 9 people ( massage therapist, beauty therapist ) ) Placements took place in London, UK in institutions indicated by the partner and approved by the school . They were masage, cosmetic and wellness studios, a nursing home.The project started on 1 October 2014 , and finished on 30 September 2016 . The project had not only the long-term impact on the Participants and their future career butl also increased the attractiveness of the educational offer at Post-secondary Medical School of Centre of Vocational and Lifelong Education in Morawica. This will contribute to the promotion of vocational education on local and regional levels. Moreover, the having gained the experience on an European labour market, the school decided to join European Week of Vocational Skills in December 2016.
