The project is based on the need to support international cooperation and the need to reinforce the CLIL method of teaching non-language subjects. The main goal of the project is to improve the teaching of Maths, History, French and English, thus making teaching more efficient and attractive at the same time. The project will be carried out by teachers of History through French and by teachers of Maths through English who will exchange information with their foreign colleagues in our partner schools and during methodology courses abroad.The aim of the project is to strengthen cooperation with our partner school in Louhans leading to the preparation and realization of the Erasmus project + an exchange student programme, shadowing and French teachers staying at our school. Four teachers will participate in the project. The main activities are:• a one-week shadowing at our partner school in France for teachers of History• a one-week language stay at our partner school in France for teachers of History• a fourteen-day methodology stay abroad for two Maths teachers based on the effective usage of CLIL method when teaching non-language subjects• a fourteen-day English course abroad for the deputy directorThe project will help to improve the teachers’ knowledge of the particular foreign language, thus making the language a natural means of learning. We see a long-term benefit in the cooperation of all participants and higher qualifications of teachers, which should make the curriculum even more attractive for future candidates.
