Be free to fly, Evergreen established friendships. There are some youth groups in every country dealing with the model plane technologies. Our purpose with this project is to arrange sharing the technological knowledge and experience about model plane technologies for the young people and merging the young people between 15 and 25 ages. Therefore, group studies for high school and university students in the different countries and cultures will be organized. In addition, merging and dialog between different cultures will be provided. Galati is a city which is the eastern side of Romania. This city has a population about three hundred thousands. Galati is the seventh biggest city of Romania. Some of our participants consist of students which are in high schools and universities. The others are graduate students from high schools and universities. The age of participant is between 15 and 25 age. Braga, Portugal's third largest, is the largest city in the Minho region. Approximately 200,000 people live. University of Minho, was established in 1973. There are 19,000 registered students. University, with about 1,300 scholars and 600 employees is one of the largest universities in Portugal. Some of our participants consist of students which are in high schools and universities. The others are graduate students from high schools and universities. The age of participant is between 15 and 25 age. 22 young and 2 group leaders, which deal with model plane training, will come into our project, that is, “Be free to fly, Evergreen established friendships”. Project will be implemented for 7 days in Kayseri which is an industrialized city and has nearly one million populations. The members of our group consist of graduate students and current students from high schools, vocational high schools and universities. Some of these members study in electronics, computers, mechatronics, civil aviation, plane engines. Some members graduated from these departments. At the same time, some members are interested in model plane (with or without Remote Control). But, these members have not got any education about it. During the project, these young people will have an opportunity to fly the ATA model plane, which is the beginning step model plane in Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK). Also, they will carry out the martin type sail planes practically and have an opportunity to fly them in a small airstrip. These activities lead to sharing of information about all young participates, which have some experience about making and flying the plane with remote control or not. 36 young people from Turkey and Romania will share useful knowledge about applied model plane. At the same time, the main theme of European Union youth projects, that is, cultural dialog and merging, will be performed during the proposed project. All young people from two different countries will realize the working with together and establish a friendship bridge between two countries.
