Project "Your economic knowledge today, the basis of the vocational success in the future" will last from 01.11.2014 to 31.12.2015. Its participants are 28 pupils of the economic technical vocational school. The young people will leave in two groups of 12 people with one teacher – the custodian of each group. The training will be held in two terms: March/April 2015, October/November 2015. According to the program of school practice the internship will last 4 weeks for each group. In cooperation with the Spanish partners, the pupils will undergo traineeship in the financial sector and clerical works in Ubeda city. The need of the project implementation results from the more and more great expectations of employers from graduates of economic directions in our region. Therefore, educational needs of young people are growing, particularly in the ability and professional competence and ability of using foreign languages. The actions from the project plan beside raising the quality of education, indeed will contribute pupils’ motivation towards the further education and in consequence will not only influence their competitiveness on local, but also European labour market. The main goals of the project are: widening by trainees the theoretical knowledge they get at school for professional skills educated on the practice, ability of using a foreign language in practice, increasing the knowledge in the organization of clerical works through the exchange of experiences, lengthening the odds on the labour market, development of the international cooperation with new partners, promotion of the school, developing interpersonal communication skills of pupils in the working life and getting to know the cultural legacy of other nations. In Poland the school will be managing a project through those responsible for the coordination of the project, in Ubeda the Spanish EuroMind partner in the cooperation with the school will be performing the role. Practice will be preceding preparatory action i.e.: the linguistic preparation through the Spanish and English teacher and linguistic conversations with the native speaker, pedagogic-cultural preparation on school classes (Polish, history, form classes), a videoconference with pupils from Kwidzyn who underwent the practice in Ubeda and the vocational education organised by the District Employment Office. In Spain the pupils will take part in the trips to Granada and Cordoba, cultural events and in linguistic exercises. Monitoring action led by school carers will be providing with information concerning the current course of the internship, of carers from places of practice, of representatives of the partner and visit of the headmaster. The entire project will also be provided with the process of the evaluation. The pupils after finished the placement will get certificates confirming their participation in the foreign internship, purchasing practical abilities, stating linguistic competence they got and letting for giving grades in vocational subjects. The certificates the students will get indeed will enhance their position on the labour market as well as will give participants the faith in own alternatives of the professional development. As a result of foreign practice conducted pupils: will get professional and linguistic skills, they will gain knowledge about culture, customs and history of Spain and about the system of functioning of Spanish enterprises, will purchase abilities of creating teaching materials, will develop interpersonal abilities. The project will let the pupils the better start on completion schools, since they will be more professionally experienced than their peers. The foreign internship will also bring long-term benefits since will influence the mobility of future graduates, will equip them with professional, linguistic latest experiences and confirmed competence with relevant certificates. Apart from above advantages this action will also strengthen the international cooperation among others by popularizing the project and sharing its results (school celebrations, the local press and websites, the educational fair, educational films and multimedia presentations).
