Twinnet is a mobile, educative, instructional but first of all students´ project, which connect young people and give them an opportunity to get to know new country, new and great people, experience new experiences and skills, gain new points of view, travel and at least, but not at last to develop participant´s personal and professional skills and abilities.
Twinnet is organized exclusively by the students and their students´ organizations from two European countries – Norway and Czech Republic.
Norway is presented by the student´s organization NoPSA – Norwegian Pharmaceutical Students´ Association - in this project. NoPSA gathers and connects the students of pharmacy faculties and universities in Norway with the main headquarters in the capital of Oslo. So far till the present time, there is the biggest number of Norwegian students of pharmacy from the university in Norwegian city Tromso interested in Twinn, so the Norwegian part of Twinn will take place here. Apart from the pharmacy students from Tromso, students from another pharmacy faculties/universities in Norway can participate in this project (if they are NoPSA members for sure).
Czech Republic is presented by student´s organization USF - Pharmaceutical students´ union - in this project. USF gathers and connects the students of the faculty of pharmacy in the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences (VFU) Brno. The Czech part of the Twinn will take place mostly in Brno, but also in the capital of Czech Republic – Prague. The participants from Czech Republic will be only students of pharmacy faculty of VFU and members of USF.
Both organisations are part of a European Pharmaceutical Students´ Association (EPSA), which has come up for the Twinnet project and thanks to which had the leaders of the both organizations (NoPSA and USF) got to know and contacted each other.
Twinnet will last one week in the end of August in Norway and then one week during the September in Czech Republic. Each student´s organization will be organizing their part and program of Twinn in their own country for each of the participants. From each country there will be 20 participants – 20 students from Brno; 20 students from Norway, from different universities – mostly from Tromso.
Czech part of the program, which will be organized by USF, will consists of different educational, understanding, non-formal, developing, scientific and social activities. To be concrete for example – interactive talk and debate with professional about criminalistics ; with another about very interesting plant species important for the humans, unusual view and visit of the beauties of Czech Republic ( the cities of Brno and Prague, nature – barrage), training and workshop on soft skills etc.
After the mobilities the participants will be able to use gained knowledges and informations in their personal, but also professional life. They´ll improve their language, team and communication skills. The will have more informations about the new country, culture, nationality. They´ll find new frienships, maybe for the whole life, and they will be able to talk and spread the informations they learned to the wide public.
Students´ organizations USF and NoPSA will improve their organization skills and knowledges in bigger and tougher events with more amount of people (30) with this project. They will have to ensure and establish all the needed things for each participant of the Twinnet. They would be able to use their abilities and skills after the project in presentation and implementation of the results of the project to another students on the university eventually for any other person and motivate them with this to organize/help/participate on an similar event (project) in the near future (USF would love to organize Twinnets like this continuously also with another different student´s organizations from EPSA)
