The idea of the "Three Graces" project originates from classical art presenting the Greek tradition of nine muses with reference to the contemporary context. It is a comprehensive initiative aiming at the development of artistic activities and cultural needs in an exceptional extend for our city with the participation of local artists together with artists from the whole country and with the use of the infrastructure resources available in Bydgoszcz (culture centers, libraries, schools and public space). We believe that only a comprehensive presentation of art, combined with science, can lead to a long lasting perception enhancement of spectators and participants of a deliberate and profound experience of art. In long term the results achieved will serve as the basis for further project development in the cultural and educational area.

The project will last three years and consist of 9 quarterly project parts. Within these parts the Three Graces will materialize as the Greek muses, symbolizing the arts, which will be the main topic during the scheduled events. Each quarter will be covered by one art discipline in order to comfortably prepare the workshops and events and reach a wide group of participants. 
In addition and in order to even further connect the project with the city of Bydgoszcz each year designers will be invited and their task will be to prepare dresses for the symbol of Bydgoszcz – “The Three Graces”. The Graces dressed up with the costumes will become and integral part of the project and raising its popularity and enhancing participation.
This journey will allow us to analyse the cultural identity of Bydgoszcz, with the participation of local, national and international artists and the local community. We want to revive the beautiful and underappreciated Three Graces monument in Bydgoszcz, which would become the symbol of our project and the cultural wealth of the city.Receipients of the cultural events
- Various age groups, family (citizens of Bydgoszcz) – invited to participate both in the workshops and the events conducted within the project;
- Representatives of various ethnic groups who can co-create artistic activities and/or participate in the events;
- The inhabitants of the region, guests from Poland and abroad – receipients of the cultural activities, participating in the events
Creators of the events and activities within the project:
- Representatives of science invited to participate in specific activities and modules within the project and, conducting workshops;
- representatives of arts organizations in Bydgoszcz, artists invited to participate in specific activities and modules within the project and, conducting workshops;
- Representatives of cultural institutions, non-governmental organizations, co-authors of the project responsible not only for the project activities but also for the administrative and organizational aspects; 
- Representatives of educational institutions collaborating on the content of the project, responsible for the quality of the activities;
- Bydgoszcz’ craftsmen responsible for the enhancment of the quality of the activities by sharing their experience and knowledge with people engaged in the project.Results:- Aim: Stimulating the energy of the local community.

- Good quality offer is the result of the number of involved organizations, both international and local, sharing their experience, passion and ideas.The number of participants engaged in activites amounts for 1000 people. The choice of variety of activities is justified by character of muse who is a patron of each opening. The predominant acts in the project are as following: workshops, concerts, exhibitions, performances and spectacles. All created by social community, coresponsible for the whole project. Expected results are: begining of building the Bydgoszcz inhibitants' identitie, the awakening of creative activities of artist society. Long term distance we would like to establish strong partnership with international organisations and to strengthen the potential of Bydgoszcz non governemtnatl organisations.
