Summary This project supports the integration of blind and visually disabled young people into the society - within a group of young people without this handicap. This project will support youth organizations in their efforts to involve integration programs and projects into their daily activities. This project also supports voluntary work. Young people without the handicap will help as guides and help during the program their colleagues with handicap. We will help them in this activity and will motivate them for further volunteering in the future. This project includes activities based on non-formal education. Young people will get information about the Romanesque and Gothic style using models of buildings on the haptic exhibition, where they can touch the objects. This is especially important for the blind participants who cannot otherwise get a good enough imagination of the shape and proportions of these buildings. This project will help to develop further skills, abilities and key competencies, especially in the area of cooperation, communication, organization, responsibility and empathy. This project will help to further expand the creativity of young people – on creative workshops the participants will get the opportunity to show and present their artistic talents and aesthetic sense. The topic of the project, Romanesque and Gothic art, we have chosen mainly due to the subsequent celebration of the birth of Charles IV, which will be held next year. During the visit of the haptic exhibition in Prague, participant will learn about the history in a non-formal way. Using special methods and tools the young people will learn many new things and will create nice items during the workshops.
